Music is the work of sound art in the form of song or musical composition that expresses thoughts and feelings of its creator, through the musical elements of rhythm, melody,harmony, form or structure of the song and expression.
Classification of musical instruments by Hornbostel and Curt Suchs:
- Idiophone: Body's own musical instrument that produces    sound. Example triangle, cabaza,maracas. 

- Aerophone: air or air units located in the instrument as a cause of sound. Example:recorder, flute, saxsophone.
- Membranophone: The skin or a thin membrane which tightened as a cause of sound.Example: drum, conga, drums.
- Chordophone: strings (strings) are tensed as the cause of sound. Example: piano, guitar,mandolin.

- Electrophone: a variety of instrument sounds, or sound assisted or caused by electrical power. Examples of the keyboard. To be able to learn the music well we need a system of musical notation or tone.
